Functional Packages
A Husarion UGV is a reliable base. A functional package turns that base into a system that carries out a specific task.
Each package is a standardised combination of hardware and software that we mount, calibrate and field-test before the robot ships. You do not integrate sensors, tune fusion parameters or write a navigation stack. You receive a robot that already does the job, with the ROS 2 interfaces still open underneath if you want to build on top.
Packages are platform-level rather than robot-specific, so the same package runs across the Husarion UGV family and a software stack you build once keeps working as your fleet grows.
Available packages
Outdoor Navigation Package
Autonomous missions outdoors and indoors. Dual-antenna RTK GNSS, 360° 3D LiDAR and a depth camera in one front-mounted assembly, fused into continuous localisation from open sky to GNSS-denied ground. Mission planning runs in a browser, hosted on the robot.
Platforms: Panther, Lynx · Order codes: NAV01P / NAV01L
Follow Me
Tethered operator following. A physical tether replaces the radio link, so there is nothing to jam, spoof or lose. Walk the route and the robot carries the load behind you, and with the Outdoor Navigation Package that walk becomes a route it can replay on its own.
Field Evaluation Program. Running at ELROB 2026, now placed with selected operators ahead of general release.
Platforms: Panther, Lynx · Patent pending
Teleoperation
Real-time remote driving, manual or semi-autonomous. Point at a target in the camera view and the robot completes the local drive itself using its own cost map.
In development. Tell us what you need from it and we will factor it into the specification.
How packages relate to the rest of the offer
| Platforms | The robot: drivetrain, power, chassis, ROS 2 drivers, open interfaces |
| Functional packages | Repeatable capability on top of the platform, such as navigation, following or teleoperation |
| Configuration options | Wheels, batteries, covers, mounts, communication modules |
Packages are designed to compose. Running more than one on the same robot is the normal case: Follow Me and the Outdoor Navigation Package are specifically built to work together.
Tell us what the robot has to do and where it has to do it. We will tell you whether a standard package covers it, and say so plainly when it does not.
